Eyes Web Devlelopment

On Friday we had a go at eyes web again but this time we came up with a diferent result. Instead of the black background with white imaging we recieved live footage in black and white and the background removed of the other footage was fed into it. This gave us the idea of being able to tell who the viewer is and who is actually in the room. We developed few new storyboard ideas thanks to this. - Amit Hundal

Eyesweb

Initial research led us to think about using blue-screen and live web cam footage or even recorded footage. In the early weeks we were shown a program called EyesWeb by Mitja so we decided to take another look at it. After being shown how it works it became clear that it would be a lot simpler to use this program instead of filming it and using blue-screen. What we plan to do is use two live feeds in separate locations. So by subtracting the background in one feed and combining it with the other feed what we will have is one feed integrated with the other. For example if someone was standing in one room with a live web cam feed and the other web cam feed is of a bedroom then by removing the background in the persons live feed and then integrating it with the other fees then we will have this person in the room even thought they are not really there. http://www.infomus.dist.unige.it/EywMain.html - Link to EyesWeb Project Amit Hundal
